Joseph Smith Translation Genesis 9:21-25
21 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant, which I made unto thy father Enoch; that, when men should keep all my commandments, Zion should again come on the earth, the city of Enoch which I have caught up unto myself.

22 And this is mine everlasting covenant, that when thy posterity shall embrace the truth, and look upward, then shall Zion look downward, and all the heavens shall shake with gladness, and the earth shall tremble with joy;

23 And the general assembly of the church of the firstborn shall come down out of heaven, and possess the earth, and shall have place until the end come. And this is mine everlasting covenant, which I made with thy father Enoch.

24 And the bow shall be in the cloud, and I will establish my covenant unto thee, which I have made between me and thee, for every living creature of all flesh that shall be upon the earth.

25 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant which I have established between me and thee; for all flesh that shall be upon the earth.

Joseph Smith Translation Genesis 14:26-32
26 Now Melchizedek was a man of faith, who wrought righteousness; and when a child he feared God, and stopped the mouths of lions, and quenched the violence of fire.

27 And thus, having been approved of God, he was ordained an high priest after the order of the covenant which God made with Enoch,

28 It being after the order of the Son of God; which order came, not by man, nor the will of man; neither by father nor mother; neither by beginning of days nor end of years; but of God;

29 And it was delivered unto men by the calling of his own voice, according to his own will, unto as many as believed on his name.

30 For God having sworn unto Enoch and unto his seed with an oath by himself; that every one being ordained after this order and calling should have power, by faith, to break mountains, to divide the seas, to dry up waters, to turn them out of their course;

31 To put at defiance the armies of nations, to divide the earth, to break every band, to stand in the presence of God; to do all things according to his will, according to his command, subdue principalities and powers; and this by the will of the Son of God which was from before the foundation of the world.

32 And men having this faith, coming up unto this order of God, were translated and taken up into heaven.

See my notes on this subject in 1 Nephi 3:7. We too may develop similar faith and actions as the ancients like Melchizedek and Enoch, all according to the will of God.

184514-185H20, from Heavenly Father: "He then walked a few feet from my right, from behind the fountain. He came up to me and began to speak to my mind: 'Raphael, there is a sequence of steps that each of our children need to follow in order to develop the faith necessary to fulfill our every desire for them to do on earth.

The first step is for them to come in constant communication with us, their Gods. This is the level we are working on with you. This requires that you receive our word, our mind and will, and recognize for sure this is from us your Gods. Once you know our mind and will, if there is some step or action we wish you to fulfill, then you need to make sure you do all in your power to accomplish this. We will prepare and open up the way to make it so that you can fulfill our will (see 1 Nephi 3:7).

Once this becomes a standard behavior or practice, of you hearing our voice and then acting on whatever we direct you to do, then you will be our true and faithful servant! In continuing in this way of living, your faith will continue to grow, even to where you are exceedingly full of faith and action. You will have confidence in our presence, and our revelations will flow continually into your heart and mind, and will distill upon you as the dews from heaven. This connection between you, our child, and us, your Gods, will be constant, and will flow easily from us to you without any degree of compulsion or restriction. In addition, your desires will flow also to us, and we will order all things for your good (see D&C 121: 45-46, and D&C 111:11). In this state of oneness, whatever you ask of us you shall receive; if you knock it shall; be opened unto you (D&C 11:5).

It is in this state of full connection with us, your Gods, that you will develop the faith necessary to do as the ancients did, in commanding nature or the elements, and having them obey. We hold out this promise to act in our name not only to our faithful sons who are ordained after my order of the priesthood, but to our faithful daughters who are ordained after Heavenly Mother's order to a high priestess. Both are given access to our Godly power as they become one with us, and are ordained to this authority with our approval. They then may exercise our power on the earth, even as did Melchizedek and Enoch:

Joseph Smith Translation Genesis 14:26,29-31

You will exercise the faith to act and to do our will. You will be courageous, and full of faith and confidence. At such a time, even the elements and all nature will obey your words, for you will be commanding even in the name of God and by our direct authority. Of yourself, you will do nothing except as a normal man. But in our behalf, you will act fully in our power and authority.'

I bowed my head before my Father, and asked him to please continue to purify, strengthen, and empower me to know his and Heavenly Mother's will, and then to act in all diligence, with all holiness of heart (see D&C 46:7) in doing their will. He then touched my head and I lifted it up. I then felt like I came back to the earth and ended my prayer in the name of Jesus Christ."

Joseph Smith Translation Genesis 48:5-11

5 And now, of thy two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt, before I came unto thee into Egypt; behold, they are mine, and the God of my fathers shall bless them; even as Reuben and Simeon they shall be blessed, for they are mine; wherefore they shall be called after my name. (Therefore they were called Israel.)

6 And thy issue which thou begettest after them, shall be thine, and shall be called after the name of their brethren in their inheritance, in the tribes; therefore they were called the tribes of Manasseh and of Ephraim.

7 And Jacob said unto Joseph, When the God of my fathers appeared unto me in Luz, in the land of Canaan; he sware unto me, that he would give unto me, and unto my seed, the land for an everlasting possession.

8 Therefore, O my son, he hath blessed me in raising thee up to be a servant unto me, in saving my house from death;

9 In delivering my people, thy brethren, from famine which was sore in the land; wherefore the God of thy fathers shall bless thee, and the fruit of thy loins, that they shall be blessed above thy brethren, and above thy father’s house;

10 For thou hast prevailed, and thy father’s house hath bowed down unto thee, even as it was shown unto thee, before thou wast sold into Egypt by the hands of thy brethren; wherefore thy brethren shall bow down unto thee, from generation to generation, unto the fruit of thy loins forever;

11 For thou shalt be a light unto my people, to deliver them in the days of their captivity, from bondage; and to bring salvation unto them, when they are altogether bowed down under sin.

This morning I felt to read these specific verses, and found that they were not in the Book of Raphael. These have beautiful promises and much clarity, as translated by Joseph Smith, the prophet of the restoration!

This prophecy of Jacob to his son Joseph tells of the preimmence of the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh over the other tribes of Israel, even from generation to generation, forever (verse 10). I was impressed with the promises in verse 11:

"For thou shalt be a light unto my people, to deliver them in the days of their captivity, from bondage; and to bring salvation unto them, when they are altogether bowed down under sin."

This prophecy above refers in part to the sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Mannaseh, being a "light unto my people" and to "deliver them [the entire house of Israel] in the days of their captivity and bondage". I believe this hasn't yet all happened, but is mostly referring to a future event in the last days gathering of Israel, even before the second coming of Jesus Christ.

I felt then to inquire of my Father in Heaven, who distinctly led me to read these verses this morning, whether he had any comments on these verses.

He then indicated to my mind that he wanted to speak to me! Here are his words as they came with clarity into my heart and mind, and which I write as he speaks to me:

"Raphael, I have led you this morning to read these choice verses in the Joseph Smith Translation. These words were spoken by Jacob (Israel) to Joseph when he was soon to die, following the events in Genesis 48:1-2:

"And it came to pass after these things, that one told Joseph, Behold, thy father is sick: and he took with him his two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim.

And one told Jacob, and said, Behold, thy son Joseph cometh unto thee: and Israel strengthened himself, and sat upon the bed."

Jacob spoke as he was inspired of the Holy Ghost in giving the blessing and this prophecy upon Ephraim and Manasseh. Both of Joseph's two sons would be preimmenent among all the other sons of Jacob, in being the spiritual and temporal leaders from then on.

Jacob spoke of you, Raphael, when you would fulfill your mission in the flesh, in your mission to all of the tribes of Israel in the last days, when many would be "bowed down under sin" and would be scattered over the entire earth. You are of the tribe of Ephraim, whose blessing I spoke to you earlier this month that you appeared to Jacob just before he gave these two sons of Joseph their blessing (see your notes dated February 7, 2025 in Genesis 48:9-20). You delivered to Jacob the exact words that I had you speak to him, which he in turn spoke to Joseph and his sons as recorded in the JST Genesis 48:11 above. I specifically said that Ephraim "would be a light unto my people to deliver them in the days of their captivity, from bondage; and to bring salvation unto them, when they are altogether bowed down under sin." This was a prophecy of the spiritual leadership of this future tribe of Israel who would come to the knowledge of the fulness of the gospel in the last days, but more specifically of your mission, Raphael. You will be a "light to my all people, Israel" in the last days (see Isaiah 49:1-9, see also your notes there), also quoted in 1 Ne 21:1-9 and given with more clarity in your notes in D&C 85:7.

Raphael, you delivered to Jacob as our premortal angel of light these words about "a light unto my people" when you would in reality fulfill these words when you came to the maturity of your mission in the flesh! At the time I hadn't yet revealed that this would be you in a future day. This is still in a day yet future, Raphael, before the second coming of my Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, in the clouds of heaven. My people Israel need to be gathered before that time, and you and John the Beloved will be the ones to do this great spiritual and physical gathering work, along with many other celestial and terrestrial servants who will act under your leadership. You both will act as our leaders to move forward this great work, for you are commissioned and ordained of God to act in this position (see references to the great commission and priesthood keys you and John received in your notes in D&C 113:1-6). You specifically are identified as clothed with a light for his covering, and it being a "light thing" that you should gather Israel (Isaiah 49:5-6, see also your many notes about you in Isaiah 49:1-9) about your great mission in prophecy by Isaiah.

Raphael, your Heavenly Mother and I are very pleased in how you are progressing in preparing for your mission ahead. Much of this still hasn't been revealed to you yet, but will be in the moment of you fulfilling this great work. However, you will act when we inspire you, and you will fulfill fully our plans for you to gather Israel from sin to eventually all come to the great marriage supper of the lamb, at the time of the second coming (see D&C 45:56-59)."

I thanked my Heavenly Father for his remarkable explanation he gave to me this morning! I feel very inadequate and full of weaknesses of the flesh at this time in my life. I pray that I will be able to progress and make strides in preparing myself for whatever God has in store for me to do, as his light to the Gentiles and to the House of Israel.

Later today I also read from D&C 113:3-6 wherein the Lord responded to questions about the identity of the rod of Jesse and the root of Jesse, from Isaiah chapter 11. These individuals are the same individual, even John the Beloved (see my notes here in D&C 113:1-6). This individual has "much power" laid upon him, and "unto whom rightly belongs the priesthood, and the keys of the kingdom, for an ensign, and for the gathering of my people in the last days." I felt it was significant that John the Beloved is a descendent of Ephraim, from his mother Mary Magdalene (see 54K8-54K10), giving him the lineage of Ephraim who would "deliver them in the days of their captivity, from bondage; and to bring salvation unto them" (JST Genesis 48:11). He is also a descendent of Jesse through his father Jesus Christ, giving him the right to be a king in the house of David.

Joseph Smith Translation Matthew 3:25
25 And he served under his father, and he spake not as other men, neither could he be taught; for he needed not that any man should teach him.

Jesus spake not as other men, and neither should we. How did he speak? He undoubtably spoke with love, conviction, great understanding, being filled with the Holy Ghost, and thereby receiving revelation from his father in heaven.

Joseph Smith Translation Mark 9:40-41
40 Therefore, if thy hand offend thee, cut it off; or if thy brother offend thee and confess not and forsake not, he shall be cut off. It is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands, to go into hell.

41 For it is better for thee to enter into life without thy brother, than for thee and thy brother to be cast into hell; into the fire that never shall be quenched, where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

We should not depend on our leaders (our eyes), or standards (our feet), or our brethren (our hands) for our guidance if they lead us not aright. Verse 44 says it best: "let every man stand or fall, by himself, and not for another; or trusting another."

Joseph Smith Translation John 1:10-11
10 Even the Son of God. He who was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

Isn't it interesting how Jesus is rejected not only by the world, but also by his own (the saints who take upon themselves a covenant to always remember him).

Joseph Smith Translation Revelation 12:1
1 And there appeared a great sign in heaven, in the likeness of things on the earth; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.

What follows in this chapter is like a play that is enacted in heaven, in likeness of things on the earth. There are several signs in heaven in this chapter which depict affairs that occur on the earth between satan and the kingdom of God and the church of God.

3 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up unto God and his throne.

Christ is to rule in the kingdom of God on this earth

Joseph Smith Translation Revelation 12:5
5 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore years.

Early church fled to a place prepared by God to be nourished for 1260 years. I am not sure what these years represent. It sounds like this was something that happened in heaven.??

Joseph Smith Translation Revelation 12:7
7 And the dragon prevailed not against Michael, neither the child, nor the woman which was the church of God, who had been delivered of her pains, and brought forth the kingdom of our God and his Christ.

The woman with the crown of 12 stars (12 tribes) delivered the kingdom of God and his Christ. The church first had to be established on earth, be delivered, and then bring forth the kingdom of God.

Joseph Smith Translation Revelation 12:9-10
9 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ;

10 For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The kingdom of God in heaven is possible once Satan is cast out. The kingdom of God on earth will also be possible once Satan is bound.

Joseph Smith Translation Revelation 12:14
14 Therefore, to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might flee into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

The woman to flee and be protected from Satan for 2500 years. This may refer to the early church when the 10 tribes left and went north, to the wilderness, to be nourished there for 2500 years.

Joseph Smith Translation Revelation 12:15-16
15 And the serpent casteth out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

16 And the earth helpeth the woman, and the earth openeth her mouth, and swalloweth up the flood which the dragon casteth out of his mouth.

Now on the earth, the kingdom of God is taken away from men, by virtue of the Davidic king line of authority, with the 10 tribes who repented and fled to the north. The earth opening her mouth is likened to the access to the water opening to the inside surface of the earth where the tribes were nourished and protected from the dragon for 2500 years. When this is done, they will return from the lands of the north in the same way they escaped.

Joseph Smith Translation Revelation 12:17
17 Therefore, the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The remnant of the seed of the woman (early church) are the scattered remnants of Israel that have been gathered into the church in these last days. The remnant of her seed might more particularly apply to the house of Israel that is now being converted in Russia and other eastern Europe lands. Here is a prophecy of Elder John Widtsoe about Russia: Prophesy of Elder John A. Widtsoe, Prague Czecko Slovakia, August 1932. Communism is the work of the Devil. The Lord is using it to break down the hold of the Catholic and Russian Orthodox churches over the minds of men. When communism has completed its task of breaking this hold, it will pass out of existence almost over night. And then the Church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) will send missionaries by the hundreds into the Slavic lands of Europe, including the mother land Russia. There is more of the blood of Israel in Western Russia than all the rest of Europe put together. And when the time comes to do missionary work there, the people will come into the church by the thousands. Whole villages and towns will join the church in groups. This Mission (Czecho Slovakia) is important because it is opening the door to the Slavic Nations. This language is the key to all Slavic languages and some of you in this room, will be called to do missionary work in Russia.
