Wherefore Didst Thou Doubt?
Doubting is not part of faith in God. A major part of this energy work is faith that God will do the healing work. Without faith that God will come, there is little or no healing power.
Doubt is the opposite of faith. Our day is typified of proving everything by science or logic. Feeling something is true and real is not valid in the eyes of many. Although it is important to use logic and have witnesses of God's presence, one can quickly venture into doubt if he stays in that mode.
I saw this video of Jesus walking on the water, found in Matthew 14:25-33. The faith that Peter exhibited in walking towards the Savior is the faith we should strive to develop when doing God's Loving Healing Hands. God will take us where we are, and help us along. It is very important to try to increase our faith that He is really there, providing the healing power to us as clear conduits. I believe as we increase our faith, He will increase the healing strength too.
Matthew 14:25-33:
"And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.
And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.
And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.
But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?
And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.
Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God."
